THE CHALLENGE

Wynnie & Wylder is built on a simple idea: wellness is not something you earn, but a return to who you already are. The brand runs gatherings that bring people together around yoga, a shared lunch and flower workshops, and its founder wanted a film that carried that feeling.

The brief was not a recap of a single day. It was an evergreen brand film that could introduce the business to new audiences for months to come, with the launch event serving as proof of concept. The look needed to feel premium and natural: soft, muted and unhurried, with no sense of over-processing or an artificial filter. It also had to explain the brand’s three pillars clearly and leave viewers with the feeling of coming home to themselves.

THE PLAN

We filmed the whole day, from 8am until the end of the event. Ground cameras followed the people in the room: hands foraging and tying flowers, faces half-hidden by dappled light, warm backlit interiors and soft, blurred movement during the yoga. We shot on a Nikon ZR and a RED Gemini cinema camera, using vintage 50mm glass for shallow focus and warm glow.

Drone footage was flown early in the morning, when the light over the lake was soft and low. It gave the film a sense of place, and the venue’s setting became part of the story.

The hero film opens with a short voiceover from JJ that sets up the brand before the event footage takes over. In the edit we tightened the opening, brought in more people eating, laughing and moving together, and built the music to carry the film through to its close. The grade holds on to muted shadows while keeping the midtones warm and alive.

The three social cutdowns were built for mobile. Each one opens on a bright, engaging image rather than a line of text, and ends on the Wynnie & Wylder brand mark. The flower and food reels focus on people making and sharing things. The yoga reel shows people moving through their practice, with a light, piano-led track.

THE RESULTS

The hero film is locked and sits on the Wynnie & Wylder homepage, where it’s the first thing new visitors see. The client has described the finished film as very positive, and the brand is using it as its main introduction to the business.

The film is already working beyond the website. On 30 September, Wynnie & Wylder published a post thanking Creation DMC for capturing the launch day, and it has drawn 15 comments and 2 reposts. It’s a public endorsement from the client, and it puts our name in front of their wellness audience at the moment the brand is building its profile.

The footage is also being put to work for events. The social cutdowns were made to promote upcoming gatherings, and the brand has since planned a second event at a walled garden venue in Cobham, with a set of reels and photos to follow. The venue owner has shown interest in running monthly wellness events there and in using the content for her own marketing, which could lead to repeat work.

CLIENT QUOTE

“It’s one thing to create something visually beautiful; it’s another to capture the feeling behind a brand. Creation DMC did both. The film is beautiful, but what makes it so powerful is that he captured the very essence of Wynnie & Wylder.”
