THE CHALLENGE

South Coast Fencing are a local company with a reputation built on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and projects delivered on time. Residential customers, commercial clients, bespoke gates. They do it all, and they do it well.

The problem? None of that came across online. Photos are static. They show a finished fence. They do not show the team, the process, the scale, or the care that goes into every installation. And when a potential customer is choosing between two fencing companies they have never met, that gap in trust matters.

They needed something that showed exactly who they are, what they do, and why they are worth picking up the phone for. Something that worked on their website, on YouTube, on social. Something that sold for them while they got on with the job.

On top of that, South Coast Fencing are a family-founded business. The video needed to feel personal as well as professional. Not just a showreel of nice fences, but a portrait of the people who build them.

 

THE PLAN

We started where we always start: a discovery meeting. We sat down with the South Coast Fencing team to understand their goals, their customers, and what success looked like for them. From there, we built a shoot plan around three locations across their patch, each chosen to show a different side of their work. Residential installations. Commercial projects. Custom gates. Real sites, real jobs, real team. Coordinating drone schedules across three active work sites on a single day takes planning. We kept communication tight with the South Coast Fencing team throughout, so when conditions changed on site, we adapted without losing a beat.

To capture the scale of their larger projects, we brought in drone videography. Aerial footage does something ground-level cameras simply cannot. It shows the full scope of an installation, how it sits within a property, and the complexity of the work involved. For a fencing company working on large commercial sites, that context is everything.

We also made time for short team interviews on location. Names, roles, experience, what they love about the work. Because people do not just hire a fencing company. They hire people they trust. And seeing a real person talk about their craft builds that trust faster than any brochure.

 

THE RESULTS

One shoot day. One professional production. A video that works across every platform they use and introduces their business to new customers every single day.

The finished video showcased residential and commercial projects side by side, demonstrating range. Drone footage gave viewers a sense of scale and professionalism they would never get from a photo gallery. And the team interviews brought a human face to the business.
